A Very Special Surprise Date!

Several days before Saturday, Travis told me that he was planning to take me out somewhere for a date -- but it was a surprise. The anticipation began to mount... :)

Then Saturday afternoon, we drove into SA -- and I found out where we were going: the poshy Chart House resteraunt in the top of the 750' Tower of the Americas!!!!! WOW!!!!! I was blown away with delight, amazement, and surprise!!!! Here are some pics from our incredible evening:

Wow -- we've been married one month!!! It seems like it's only been a week or so... time surely flies when you're having the time of your life! :)

Hello Again From South Texas!

More fun random things in my newly-married life:

 I was given a very nice and helpful but old book for brides on housekeeping (thanks -- you know who you are!). Some of the menu lists "for an average dinner" did make me smile, tho (the giver "warned" me about them with a smile). They seemed a little elaborate, and not too health-conscious... just a little. ;)
